Design/Build Sheet Piles, Dewatering, and Auger Grouted Displacement Piles

Three major scopes of work

This project included three major scopes of work: Temporary Shoring, Dewatering and Design-Build Pile Foundation. The temporary shoring was design-build and included approximately 360 linear feet of temporary sheet pile shoring. Maximum shored height was 14 feet and this scope included install and removal of sheet piles. The dewatering scope was also design-build and included installation of 7 wells 40 feet deep inside the sheet pile excavation. The foundation scope was design-build and included 360 total Drilled Displacement Augercast Piles. The foundation scope included static pile load testing, reporting and final design submission. The soil conditions included mixed soil fill, a soft clay and a sand layer that varied from medium dense to dense.
