Barrick Cortez Range Front Declines
This project includes the excavation of twin 8,000’ long declines 19’ in diameter with associated passing bays, cross passages and side drifts. The total combined footage of excavation is just over 18,000 LF. Excavation methods consisted of a combination or roadheader and drill & blast. Excavation support consisted of shotcrete and rock bolts.
