Railroad Services

Drill Tech owns three car movers, two lo-railers, and numerous pieces of specialty high-rail equipment such as trucks, excavators, dump carts, drill rigs and roadheaders.

Our team of engineers is skilled in a variety of railroad project types.

We have experience installing shotcrete, grout, tiebacks, micropiles and other structures in existing railroad tunnels, as well as using roadheaders for clearance notching existing rail tunnels for conversion to double stack service.

Drill Tech has also constructed numerous retaining walls and deep foundations for railroads.

Previous clients include Union Pacific Railroad, BNSF, CSX, Metrolink and Caltrain.
